A CARE home in Clacton could be converted into a hotel for wheelchair users.
Plans have been submitted for the Trelawne Care Home, in Lancaster Gardens West, to turn four bedrooms into guest rooms.
The three floor building was converted from a family home into a hotel in the 1970s before being turned into a care home for 12 residents.
A decision on the plans is expected to be made by Tendring Council by May 13.
