DETECTIVES hunting an armed raider who got away with cash from a shop in Clacton have issued CCTV images of a man they want to question.
The robber, who brandished a kitchen knife, struck at the One Stop shop, in St John’s Road, in December.
He made off with a three-figure sum of cash during the raid, which happened at about 5pm on December 10.
Officers working on the case issued CCTV images today.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “Detectives thought that they had previously identified the suspect, but enquiries revealed that he had an alibi.
“Police now hope that the public may be able to name the man shown.
“The man is described as white, aged 17 to 20-years-old, about 5ft 10ins tall.”
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact Det Con Derek Lee, at Clacton CID, on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
