Clacton to host spooky workout fundraiser

A FITNESS expert has organised a special Halloween-themed boot camp to raise cash for charity.

Personal trainer Patrick Fearis, who runs Clacton Boot Camps, will run the spooky workout on October 31.

It is open to anyone and those taken part need to come in fancy dress and bring their own pumpkin.

They will be asked for a minimum donation of £1, and all cash raised will go to cancer charity Myeloma UK.

Patrick said: “One of our boot camp members has a sister suffering from myeloma so it is a cause that is close to us.

“I hope people will get into the spirit by dressing up, and we will be exercising using the pumpkin.

“Halloween is the perfect excuse to have a bit of fun with keeping fit while raising some money for a good cause.”

Two themed classes will be held on October 31 at 6.30pm and 7.30pm.
