Cat burglar raids child's bedroom

A CAT burglar raided a young child’s bedroom while they slept.
The child’s mother was awoken in the early hours as the raider attempt to enter the parents’ bedroom.
The cat burglar fled the home, in Vicarage Gardens, Clacton, after the woman started screaming.
He made off with a PlayStation 3 computer games console, which was taken from the child’s bedroom.
The burglar is described as being aged in his 20s, about 5ft 10ins to 6ft tall, of broad athletic build.
He was wearing a baseball cap, navy blue coloured gillet top with grey sleeves and dark trousers.
The incident happened between 3am and 3.30am on Saturday.
Witnesses, or anyone with information about the burglary, are asked to contact detectives in Colchester on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
