Residents urged to compost their food waste with free bins
3:30pm Thursday 20th September 2012 in News
RESIDENTS in Tendring are being offered free compost bins so they can compost their own food waste.
Tendring Council has a supply of the bins available for anyone living in the district.
They are limited to one per household and can be collected from the council’s Weeley Offices either on Saturday, September 22, from 10am to 1pm or on October 20 from 10am to 1pm.
Alternatively a delivery service is available, at a charge of £6 per bin, and can be arranged by contacting the council on 01255 686732.
