12:00pm Monday 17th September 2012 in News
KEEN cyclists are needed to ride 300 miles across two countries for charity.
East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices - EACH - has ten places in the London to Paris bike ride next year.
Participants will ride along the Champs Elysees the day before the Tour de France finale and get to watch the event on its 100th anniversary.
Spokesman Jo Colbert said: “This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Tour de France, cycle along the Champs Elysees like countless Tour de France competitors have done and raise funds for a such an important charity.”
The ride will start in London on July 17 and finish on July 21.
To bid for a place visit each.org.uk/londontoparis or email jo.colbert@each.org.uk by September 30.
Places cost £149 and you should raise a minimum of £1,650 sponsorship.
