Police commissioner hopefuls get forum

CANDIDATES for the new role of Essex Police Commissioner will be speaking at a meeting of a political party in Frinton.
Independent candidates Linda Belgrove and Mick Thwaites will each be invited to talk for ten minutes at a meeting of Tendring First, followed by a question and answer session.
Following the discussion a ballot to decide who the party will support will take place.
The event will take place at Frinton Methodist Church, in Ashlyns Road, at 7.30pm pm September 17. It is open to the public, although only members of the party can vote in the ballot.
