Dog owners threatened with court action over fouling

IRRESPONSIBLE dog owners are being threatened with court action if they don’t clear up after their pets.
Tendring Council environment boss Nick Turner said the issue of dog fouling is being taken very seriously and that the authority is prepared to take legal action if it has the evidence to prosecute.
The council will also take action against owners who allow their pets to cause nuisance or anti-social behaviour issues.
The warning comes following three prosecutions by the council in recent weeks.
