'Bad boyfriend' Adam Wren with fiancee Emma Brough
A BAD boyfriend won a luxury holiday and his girlfriend’s hand in marriage - all thanks to pop star Peter Andre.
The Aussie singer transformed Adam Wren to a modern-day Romeo when the Thorrington resident was nominated for his ITV2 show Bad Boyfriend Club.
Girlfriend Emma Brough, 21, secretly put Adam forward for the show for his bad habits including leaving toenail clippings on the bedroom table and for spending too much time working.
As part of the show, aired on Wednesday, Adamwas whisked away for a make-over before he organised a date for his beau.
He treated Emma to flowers, a limo tour with champagne and drinks reception, before proposing by getting members of the public to hold up signs spelling out the magic question.
He was then voted the winner in a head-to-head against another bad boyfriend to claim a 10-day luxury holiday to the Dominican Republic for the newly-engaged couple.
Adam, 25, confessed he was delighted to win the top prize, but said he was already a winner with Emma saying yes to his proposal.
“It was such a relief,” he told the Gazette.
