Warning over burglary rise in Clacton

RESIDENTS have been warned to keep their doors and windows locked after a rise in Clacton burglaries.

Over a two week period at the end of August 18 houses were raided by crooks in Clacton.

Tendring’s community safety sergeant Andy McFarlane said: “We always warn people to lock their doors and windows, especially in summer.

“There is a tendency for people to leave their windows ajar because of the hot weather and that can make them a target.”

It seems funny that since the London boroughs have started shipping out thier less desireable residents there has been an increase in crime here and a decrease in London.

Until we bring back reasonable punishment nothing will change, the thieving scum that do this kind of thing have no concern for anyone other than themselves.

have to agree with Cavillas crime has increased a lot over the past year and most the criminals have come from London.
Clacton has become a disgrace with all the burglaries and knife crimes
