Parents urged to think about school places early
12:00pm Sunday 2nd September 2012 in News By Will Lodge
PARENTS anxious to find a secondary school place in 2013 are urged to think about the application process now.
Essex County Council has set the application dates with parents and carers having to apply between September 1 and October 31.
A website is available for parents with school information including Ofsted reports, admissions criteria and catchment areas, and applications can also be made online.
Parents interested in places at grammar and selective schools in Essex and Southend must register with the Consortium of Selective Schools in Essex (CSSE) by Friday September 7.
Visit essex.gov.uk/admissions for more information, or for the CSSE visit csse.org.uk.
