A VETERAN resident has celebrated 20 years living at a Clacton care home.
Joyce Bougourd moved into Corner House Residential Home when she was 64 due to ill health, and has been there ever since.
Staff organised a special celebration for her to mark the milestone.
They even organised for a letter to be sent from the Queen to mark the big day.
Activity coordinator at the home Tracy Josko said: “She has seen many changes and met many people who have become close friends, whether it be fellow residents, visitors or staff members.
“We love having her here, and organised a letter from the Queen wishing her luck for the big day, which we framed and presented to her.
“It was really a day to remember for Joyce.”
