Clacton Lions boost hospices with daring abseil

A PAST president of the Clacton Lions club took on a daring abseil for charity.

Terry Lilley decided to abseil 116 feet down the Jumbo Water Tower in Colchester as his final fundraiser for the Lions.

He raised more than £335 pounds, which will go towards East Anglian Children’s Hospices.

Terry said: “It was an unforgettable experience, and I’d love to have the opportunity to do it again.”
