Youngsters compete in Brightlingsea sporting fun day

A MASS of excited youngsters took part in a children’s centre sports day.
A parents group from Brightlingsea’s Sure Start centre organised the Olympic-themed fun day at Brightlingsea infant school field.
More than 70 children and their families took part in a huge variety of events, including egg and spoon, running and sack races.
The winners were handed certificates, medals and trophies.
One of the organisers, Becky Munson said: “The event was a big success and I think everyone had a good time.”
