Burglars steal jewellery during raid on home

BURGLARS stole a large quantity of jewellery during a raid on a home in Holland-on-Sea.
The burglars forced their way into the property in Fleetwood Avenue on Saturday evening.
Investigating Officer, Det Con Roger Henderson, said a forensic examination of the scene was carried out as well as house-to-house enquiries.
He said: "We’re looking to speak with anyone who saw any suspicious, unusual activity on this road during Saturday evening as well as those people who have recently been offered jewellery in a less than traditional fashion.”
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call detectives at Clacton police station on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
