Daredevil takes to the sky for charity

A WOMAN faced her fears and leapt from a plane and raise cash for charity.

Sammy-Jo Sanderson, of Holland-on-Sea, raised more than £400 for the RSPCA with the daring skydive.

She said: “I lost my dog in January. He had to be put down. After that I really wanted to do something to help other animals.

“The RSPCA does an amazing job so it seemed like the thing to do.

“When I got up there I was terrified, but once I was in the air it was amazing. The experience of a lifetime."

Sammy-Jo has now been bitten by the thrill-seeking bug, and is planning a second skydive for the RSPCA later this year.
