THREE illegal Chinese immigrants living in Jaywick are set to be deported by the UK Border Agency.

Officers detained a Chinese illegal immigrant as he answered immigration bail at Clacton Police Station on Wednesday.

A search of the 24-year-old failed asylum seeker’s home address in Broadway, led to the discovery of two other Chinese immigration offenders.

Checks revealed that the 43-year-old man and 27-year-old woman were also both failed asylum seekers.

All three are now in UK Border Agency detention pending their removal to China.

Chief immigration officer Jack Davis, from the local immigration team for Suffolk and North-East Essex, said: “People who decide to flout immigration law should be in no doubt that we will find them and look to remove them from the country.

“The UK Border Agency is working hard to track down immigration offenders.

“We urge members of the public to get in touch with us if they have any information about suspected illegal immigrants or companies that are employing illegal workers.”

Anyone who has information about suspected illegal immigrants is asked to report it at ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk.
