RESIDENTS were warned to secure their sheds after a break-in caused £50 damage A shed in Swift Avenue, Jaywick, was forced open on Sunday night.
Calvin Heal, crime reduction officer for Tendring, said: “At this time of year we always see a rise in the number of shed break-ins.
“Thankfully nothing was taken on this occasion, but it is a good reminder about the need to have good security for your shed.”
