MOTORISTS travelling into Colchester face long delays after a single vehicle crash.

The black car appeared to have left the road shortly before 8.15am.

It was travelling on the slip road off the A12 towards the Spring Lane roundabout when the crash happened.

The driver, a man, was injured but full details have not yet been released.

One lane of the slip road is clsoed while police and ambulance crews deal with the incident.

Traffic is queuing back onto the A12, causing delays for motorists.
