A WALTON based stage group has been forced to take their shows out of town as they can not afford to hire the resort's main hall.
The Creative Amateur Stage Theatre say they have been priced out of the town council run Columbine Centre in Walton so they are taking their new variety show to Jaywick and Holland-on-Sea.
Jill Lashmar secretary of the Creative Amateur Stage Theatre says they are now actively looking for a suitable alternative hall in the Frinton and Walton area.
