Tendring residents can soon benefit from free legal advice on education and child law matters.
The Children's Legal Centre will hold monthly drop-in sessions from Friday at the Citizens' Advice Bureau centre at 18 Carnarvon Road, Clacton between 10am and 12pm.
Members of the public will be able to access free advice on special educational needs including bullying, exclusion, disability discrimination and under-18 homelessness.
Children's Legal Centre operations manager, Douglas Hiscock, said: "We are very pleased to be working in partnership with the CAB in the Tendring area.
"It is an opportunity for people to access free legal advice in what can often be a difficult area of the law to understand.
"Parents, carers and children often don't know their rights if they are in a dispute with their school or local education authority.
"These are all matters that we can help with."
