KEITH Morris held his captain's day at Harwich and Dovercourt Golf Club.
There was almost a full field of entrants on what was a very hot day.
With dry conditions, there was always going to be lots of run on the fairways and, with the greens rolling very well, good scores were expected.
Dave Southgate did not disappoint as he won with a very good score of 41 points.
The runner-up was Tony Sage, with 40 points, and in third was Paul Harris, with 39 points.
Lady captain Ruth Stapleton won the ladies' prize, with 34 points.
The longest drive was won by Jamie King and nearest the pin was won by Danny Turner.
Sue Keen won the ladies' longest drive and nearest the pin.
After the prizegiving, Stapleton thanked all for entering and Morris and his family for organising the day.
