ALL the fun of the farm came to a village school as part of a special themed week of learning.
Children at Mistley Norman Primary School and Nursery spent last week learning about animals and how to care for them.
They were then treated to a visit from Gemma’s mobile farm.
Headteacher Karen Jones, said: “In preparation for The Tendring Show, the children enjoyed a special farming week. Farming themed lessons ran throughout the week in all classes and, as part of their learning, children enjoyed a special visit from Gemma’s Farm.
“The children were shown how to handle the animals safely and learnt some fascinating facts about them too.
“It was great the farm came to us so that the whole school could experience the same thing and share such a lovely experience.
“The children had a wonderful day and it was a great opportunity for the children to learn more about agriculture.”
