MUSIC-LOVERS are being urged not to miss out on tickets for next week’s Frinton Festival.

The fifth annual festival runs from May 25-28, with some tickets for some events still up for grabs.

Next Friday there is a performance of The Remarkable Tale of Prince Unexpected at St Mary’s Parish Church from 4.15pm, followed by refreshments for the audience.

On the Saturday audiences can enjoy a James Kirby piano recital of Schubert and Melanie Daiken at Homestead, in Second Avenue, from 11am, but tickets are returns only.

That evening, from 7pm, there is a string quartet performance, featuring music by Schubert, Bach and Schumann at All Saints Church in Great Holland. Tickets are £19 including a glass of wine.

Tickets for Sunday afternoon’s performance at Homestead by the Barbican Piano Trio are also returns only.

The concert includes music by Schubert, Schumann and the world premiere of a new work by Joseph Phibbs.

There is a sing-along Choral Evensong service at St Mary’s Parish Church from 6.30pm on the Sunday.

The grand finale sees the return of the Massive Violins with seven singing cellists performing epic arrangements of songs including Queen, Michael Jackson and The Sound of Music at Frinton Tennis Club. Just a handful of tickets are left, priced £19,
