OUTLINE plans for 12 new homes on farmland behind homes in Clacton have been approved.
Mr J Brazier has been given permission by Tendring Council to build the three bedroom bungalows and garages on 1.5 acres of land behind 522 St John's Road.
Residents complained that the development, which includes as access road, would cause further traffic issues on the busy main road.
The land had previously been identified for housing development in the council's adopted and draft local plans.
