Snow fell in Colchester this morning... thanks to everyone who sent pictures in.

Send your pictures to gazette.newsdesk@newsquest.co.uk.

Just a quick update this morning-  please be careful on the roads as a black ice warning has been issued!

Highways England worked around the clock to keep motorways and major A-roads free from snow and ice.
