7,500-home 'garden community' consultation extended
THE deadline for people to have their say on plans for a new 'garden community' on the border of Tendring and Colchester has been extended.
The huge new development includes plans for 7,500 homes – with a third being built by 2033.
An eight-week public consultation started on November 13 and will now run until January 22.
An exhibition about the plans takes place at Market Field School, in Elmstead Market, on December 14 from 4pm to 8pm.
