JOB prospects are on the up for two lucky winners of a £500 training course for forklift drivers.
Trevor Woodger and Lewis Cooper’s names came out of a draw organised at the Tendring Jobs and Careers Fair held at Clacton’s Princes Theatre last week.
The event was organised by Tendring Council in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions.
The prizes of the courses with the chance to gain an accredited Forklift certificate were put up by ALM Training Services.
More than 2,000 people turned out with 55 businesses looking to recruit staff.
Sue Turnbull, from ALM Training Services, said: “We are always delighted to support the Tendring Jobs and Careers Fair and hope that the two winners will really benefit from the chance to gain an accredited Forklift certificate.
“ALM has attended this event for the past four years and in our opinion, it is the best Jobs and Careers fair in Essex, giving local people employment and training opportunities.”
