HUNDREDS of jobs are up for grabs at a huge careers fair next week.

The free event, at Clacton's Princes Theatre, takes place on Tuesday***OCT03*** and will feature more than 50 employers.

Organisers are hoping for a record-breaking 2,000 visitors.

There will be exhibitors from the hospitality, care, retail, construction and manufacturing sectors.

Tendring Council's Zoe Fairley said: “There will be real offers of jobs on the table on the day and the chance to meet and discuss opportunities with employers from the area.

“With more than 55 stands there is a huge choice of potential employment and training and there should be something to interest everyone."

Among the firms confirmed are Taylor Wimpey, Marks and Spencer, Rose Builders, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Affinity Water, Galloper Wind Farms, Dalau, Colchester Hospital and Job Centre Plus, Wivenhoe House Hotel, Milsom Hotels and Restaurants, Premier Inn, McDonalds, Orchard Holiday Park, Surya Foods and Hotels and Tendring Council.

The event is runs from 10am to 4pm and is supported by the Clacton, Frinton and Walton Gazette and Harwich and Manningtree Standard.

Free buses have been arranged to bring job-hunters in from Jaywick, Harwich and Dovercourt.
