A VICTIM has been taken to hospital with a leg injury following an aggravated burglary in Dovercourt.

Police have released an e-fit image of a man they want to speak to over the incident.

Two men entered a house in Main Road shortly before 11.30pm on Friday, August 8.

Hundreds of pounds of cash and jewellery were taken from the property after a messy search was carried out.

One man is described as being black, around 6ft tall and of a large build, between 25 and 30 years old with a thin styled beard.

He had a London accent and wore black tracksuit bottoms and a black t-shirt.

The second man is described as white, around 5ft tall, slim build and in his early 20s. He was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms.

The victim was taken to hospital with a leg injury, which was not life threatening or life changing.
