New toddler music and movement classes launch in Heybridge and Wickham Bishops

The Mini Melodies music and movement class is aimed at children between the ages of one and four.

The classes are offered by Stage Two Dance Academy, who have been established in the area since 1982, running ballet, tap and modern dance classes for children aged two and over.

The Mini Melodies classes aim to support children younger than that, with sessions being held on Tuesday and Thursdays in Heybridge Basin, and on Friday in Wickham Bishops.

Organiser, Rebecca Smith said: “Our class is friendly, fun and interactive combining music, singing and movement. We use visual aids such as puppets, instruments parachutes and bubbles.

“Parents are encouraged to join in with their children to get the most out of each session. Our class will help your child develop co-ordination, confidence and social interaction.”
