A WOMAN was taken to hospital with a suspected broken hip following a fall in Burnham.
The incident happened late in the evening on Thursday, at the junction of Station Road and Western Road, in Burnham.
A spokesman for the East of the England Ambulance Service said: "We received a call at 8.37pm on Thursday. We disaptached an ambulance crew and a rapid response vehicle.
"We treated a woman in her 60's. She was conscious and breathing. She was treated for a suspected fractured hip.
"She was taken to Broomfield Hospital for further treatment."
