A 17-YEAR-OLD boy will be sentenced after he was found guilty of possession with intent to supply drugs in Southend.
The teenager, who is from London and cannot be named for legal reasons, was convicted at Basildon Magistrates’ Court for possession of class A drugs diamorphine and crack cocaine on Wednesday, November 2 last year with intent to supply.
He further admitted stealing a £69.99 jacket from TK Maxx, in The Royals, Southend, on the same day.
The teen was further convicted of assaulting Michael Shaw.
He will be sentenced at Stratford Magistrates’ Court on June 19 on the condition that he abides by an electronic curfew, which lasts between 8pm and 7am daily.
He must also present himself at a police station whenever they ask to see him and attend all appointments with the youth offending service.
