TENDRING Technology College’s year ten footballers enjoyed success at the North-East Essex School Sports Association finals.

Their year ten team were victorious for the fourth year on the trot, producing an excellent performance to defeat The Gilberd 7-3.

The final took place at Stanway School.

Alfie Matthews scored a hat-trick and he was joined on the scoresheet by Harry Young (two), Miles Sargent and Josh Seward.

“It’s an amazing feat, considering the competitiveness among Colchester and Tendring secondary schools,” said PE teacher Robert Rouse.
