BRIDDOCK Richard Sadly passed away on 18th March 2017, aged 71, after a short illness at Arundel House, where he was well cared for. A loving Brother and Son to Gillian and Mrs Anne Briddock. Survived by his older Sister Gillian & her family, a great friend to John and Tamara. Richard was lovingly cared for by Laura, John and Andy at his home on St. Mary's Road for over 14 years. He will be much missed. Richard was born in Darfield, South Yorkshire, but lived in Essex for almost all his life. Richard went to Chigwell school, studied at Trinity College Dublin and then trained as a dancer at the Lagat Ballet School. Richard performed as a dancer across Europe for many years before suffering a serious injury in Japan in 1990. Since then he has lived mostly independently at his home in Frinton-on-Sea, with his carers supporting him. He maintained a love of classical music, especially Pavoritti; as well as beautiful & interesting things that meant things to him. Gillian wishes to thank everyone who supported Richard over his years in Frinton-on-Sea. Funeral service to be held at St Marys Parish Church, Frinton-on-Sea where Richard attended over the years, at 11am on the 8th May 2017, followed by Burial at Kirby Cemetery at 12:30pm.
