RAIL passengers are facing delays until midday after overhead wires were damaged.
All train services between Colchester and Clacton have been suspended between Colchester Town and Clacton until at least 12.30pm.
Train services between Colchester, and Walton-On-The-Naze via Colchester Town have also been suspended between Colchester Town and Walton on the Naze.
Overhead electric wires were damaged near Thorpe Le Soken station.
A statement on the Greater Anglia website said Network Rail engineers are on site and are working to repair the damage to the equipment with repairs expected to be completed by 12pm.
A limited rail replacement bus service will run between Clacton and Colchester and between Walton on the Naze and Thorpe Le Soken.
