ELVIS lookalike Michael King lives up to his name as he resurrects the sounds of the King of Rock 'n' Roll this weekend.

Two hours of non-stop, action-packed classics are set to thrill fans of one of showbiz's most legendary entertainers.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the crooner's death in 1977.

Michael is the only UK Elvis performer to have received the ‘Las Vegas Elvis Icon Award’ for his performances there with Elvis’ very own Jordanaires backing singers.

Elvis's step-brother and bodyguard David Stanley is among the impersonator's fans.

He said: “Michael King has the moves, the look and the voice. I saw Elvis in concert over 1,000 times and watching Michael is nothing short of spooky.”

‘On Tour With Elvis’ claims to be the UK’s authoritative touring Elvis show.

Michael even wears authentic jumpsuits tailor-made for him in the USA from the exact original patterns used for Elvis’s own stage wear.

He recaptures the essence and power of an Elvis performance, including hits such as Jailhouse Rock, Are You Lonesome Tonight, All Shook Up, Hound Dog and Heartbreak Hotel, The Wonder Of You and Blue Suede Shoes.

The show spans the early rock 'n' roll years, the Elvis movies, the 1968 'Comeback Special' and Las Vegas.

On Tour With Elvis is at Clacton's West Cliff Theatre on Saturday, February 11, at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £21 from the box office on 01255 433344.
