TRIBUTES have flooded in for 'loveable rogue' Aaron Joyce who died suddenly aged 23.

The dad-of-one was found dead at a house in Thomas Road, Clacton, a week ago today after emergency services attended the property with concerns for his safety.

At the time, a spokesperson for Essex Police confirmed his death was not being treated as suspicious.

Since then, a GoFundMe page to help his mum Wendy Farthing has raised £1,350 in just three days.

It was set up by close friend Jack Johnson with the aim to donate £5,000 towards funeral costs.

"Everyone who knew Aaron, knew he was a top bloke, always had time for people and will be missed by many," he said.

"I've set this up to help his family give him the best send off he deserves."

The page has been shared more than 50 times on Facebook where friends and family have left tributes to Aaron, who had a young son.

There is even mention of a special procession on the day of his funeral with a convoy of sports cars.

Mum Wendy said: " My son touched so many lives. I'm overwhelmed and blessed by all the beautiful comments and donations - he was very loved, that's for sure."

She also described him as a 'true gentle giant' and a 'loveable rogue'.

Speaking of the crowd funding campaign, Aaron's grandparents Dave and Jackie Ashman commended the young peoples' efforts.

"Young people sometimes can surprise you," Mr Ashman said.

"Bless you all, I just can't believe your kindness.

"It's not the money, it's a wonderful selfless thought."

The 'heartbroken' mother of his child, Jasmine Jade, said she has 'never missed someone so much in her life'.

She wrote: "It breaks my heart that you've left us.

"We made plans of holidays together, getting married and possibly having the football team of children you wanted.

"You'll always be my best friend and soulmate."
