CINEMA on Sea organisers are preparing to launch a new season of flicks with a British crowd pleaser.
Frinton’s pop-up cinema scheme is set to return in September after a summer break.
It was launched by the owners of Caxton Books to fill a void and give residents the chance to watch recent releases on the big screen in Frinton.
The first showing of the new season will feature feel-good film Eddie the Eagle, starring Taron Egerton as the ski-jumper who captured the nation’s hearts in the 1980s.
It will be shown at McGrigor Hall on Friday September 9, at 3pm and 7.30pm.
The second film will be charming sleeper hit Florence Foster Jenkins, starring Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant, on October 22.
Caxton Books co-owner Sally Johnson said: “We’re looking forward to following a really successful Frinton Summer Theatre season and bringing residents an excellent line-up of films.”
