A BLAZE which started in a garage spread to a house and set fire to neighbours' cars parked in a driveway.
Three people needed medical treatment after the fire broke out in Heath Road, Alresford, just after 10.10pm last night.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze.
A brigade spokesman said; "Crews have been called to a fire that has spread from a garage to the rear of the attached house in Alresford.
"The garage has a car inside while two cars on the neighbours driveway have also caught alight."
Crews from Wivenhoe and Colchester attended the scene.
Three victims were treated by paramedics.
The fire was out shortly before 11.30pm and the area made safe.
