A PAIR of spectacular inflatable fun day fundraisers have been organised to help fight cancer.

The Mega Fun Day events have been launched to give youngsters some half term entertainment and help raise cash for Cancer Research.

They will include huge inflatables for children to play on, as well as fairground rides, a climbing wall, go karting, zorb balls, pony rides and face painting.

A special area will be set up for children aged under five and a craft fayre will also be launched this year.

Entry is free and wristbands giving unlimited use of the inflatables cost £5. The other rides and events cost extra.

The first of two events this year will take place on Thursday June 2, during the next half term.

It will be on the late riser boot sale site at White Meadow Lodge, off London Road, Little Clacton, 11am-5pm.

Last year’s Mega Fun Day events raised more than £2,200 for Cancer Research.

Organiser Michelle Allwright set up the annual fun days to make extra use of the Little Clacton site and do her bit to help the charity.

Darren Couchman, local fundraising manager for Cancer Research, said: “It’s fantastic to have the Clacton Mega Fun Day supporting us again.

“I was at the events last year and it was great to see so many children enjoying themselves and helping us make enormous progress in the fight against cancer.”
