AN elderly dog walker suffered horrific injuries after being knocked down by a cyclist who rode off and left him on the ground on Clacton seafront.
George Minter, 92, was walking pet pooch Molly on the seafront path by Kings Parade, Holland, when he was sent crashing to the ground.
A female cyclist rode into the extendable lead between George and Molly, pulling the pensioner off his feet.
He suffered serious injuries, including a fractured cheekbone and shoulder and a broken arm.
But the cyclist only stopped long enough to untangle the lead from her pedals, before riding away and leaving George on the floor.
A passer-by came to his rescue and called an ambulance. It happened on September 8 and George has been in and out of hospital since then.
Anyone with information should contact police on 101.
