AN MP has called for further improvements to patient healthcare in Frinton.
Douglas Carswell recently met local NHS bosses to discuss the Caradoc Surgery and what can be done to ensure residents get the care they have a “right to expect”.
“The past couple of years have been very difficult for a number of patients in Frinton,” Mr Carswell said.
“People have not, frankly, always had the primary care that they should be getting, and although there has been some improvement, things are still not good enough.”
He added: “I know that the local surgery in Walton is looking to grow, and the GP surgery in Thorpe has expanded and it is now running the Kirby Cross satellite surgery.
“This shows that things can be improved, and I want to make sure that we improve primary care provision in Frinton.”
Mr Carswell said he had written to NHS England asking for talks about the service.
