OWNERS of a listed pub could be forced to demolish a wall which was put up without planning permission.
The wall was constructed from multicoloured bricks and stainless steel flower tubs at the Brewers Arms, in Victoria Place, Brightlingsea.
It was created outside to separate the pub car park from road.
A retrospective planning application was rejected by Tendring Council. It decided the structure is not in keeping with the Grade II listed building or the conservation area it is sited in.
