FORMER Ukip councillor Len Sibbald has now decided to donate his one month’s council allowance to local charity groups in Rush Green.
He said of his decision to quit: “I have had a number of positive responses from Rush Green residents but, sadly, a few negative ones too.
“I have now received my one and only council allowance, totalling £400.
“I am thinking of choosing two community organisations in the Rush Green ward who could have £200 each.
“It would be a nice gesture to the residents following my letter of apology. I intend to put this back into the Rush Green community, perhaps Coppins Hall Community Centre or the Windsor Avenue Sea Scouts.”
