Inquest confirms young man from Clacton took his own life after disappearance
A MAN who was found dead in a quiet country lane had taken his own life, an inquest heard.
Alex Wagner, 21, of Woolwich Road, Clacton, was reported missing after driving off in his car at 2am on March 28.
The body of the former Bishop’s Park College student was found by police in a lay-by off Lodge Lane, Little Clacton, at 10.40am that day after a passer-by became suspicious after spotting a parked car.
Essex coroner Caroline Beasley-Murray recorded a verdict of suicide during an inquest held into his death at Chelmsford’s County Hall on Monday.
