A BUMPER turnout saw more than 1,000 cyclists saddle up for the Tour de Tendring.
Perfect weather meant 300 cyclists signed up on the day – on top of the 700 already registered ahead of the crowd-pulling event, which is in its 22nd year.
They had the pick of three routes covering six, 20 and 60 miles – the longest taking in Clacton, St Osyth and Great Bentley.
