A SUPER slimmer has dropped four dress sizes and shed 3 1/2 stone since a health scare sparked her into action.

Tracey Wright, 47, of Clacton, has lost the weight after embarking on a programme designed by Slimming World, which means she can still eat meals like roast dinners, burgers and chips, as well as the occasional piece of chocolate, cheesecake and even the odd glass of wine.

She has been so inspired by her weight loss that she has given up her old job as a High Court enforcement officer and joined Slimming World as a consultant.

Tracey, who is now a sleek size eight or ten, was inspired to lose weight after a health scare.

She said: “I was having stomach pains and even after two trips to the hospital the doctors did not know why it was happening.

“I had tried increasing my exercise levels, but this did not affect my weight. That is when I found Slimming World. We use a system called food optimising when you can have a bit of what you want to eat, but mix it up with healthier fruit and vegetables.”

She added: “With most diets, you have to cook one meal for yourself and another for the family, but here you just have less of the bad bits.”

Tracey has now been inspired to start up her own Slimming World group in Clacton, which starts on Saturday at 9am at the Tendring Enterprise Studio School campus, in Jaywick Lane.

“I am now so passionate about trying to help others,” she said.

“Before, in my old job, it was all about taking and now I will be able to give something back.”
