Crooks break into home and steal sentimental jewellery worth thousands of pounds in raid
BURGLARS made off with a haul of goods including more than £3,000 of sentimental jewellery from a home in Jaywick.
The crooks also stole a television and laptop computer during a raid on a home in Donne Drive between April 13 and Saturday.
Det Con Chris Leslie, of Clacton CID, said the jewellery was of sentimental value as it had belonged to the victim’s late grandmother.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Det Con Leslie on 101.
