TENDRING Technology College principal Caroline Haynes rubbed shoulders with royalty at the University of Essex.
The Prince of Wales met headteachers and business leaders at the Prince of Wales Engineering Workshop on Tuesday.
Several of the Prince’s charities have joined forces with the Royal Academy of Engineering and Engineering UK to host the series of workshops.
Ms Haynes said: “I have really enjoyed the opportunity, and particularly the chance to talk to executives from industries to really confirm we all want the same things and how to achieve these things for our students with the huge barriers that are in our way.”
Representatives from Clacton County High School, Tendring Enterprise Studio and the Colne Community School also attended the royal visit.
